October 2025 Opening of The Skin-Rocks (Les Peaux roches). House of bricoleurs collaborated with the artist Céleste Rogosin to develop the scenography of her solo show at the FRAC Grand-Large, Dunkirk. The aim was to spatially perceive the view points, understand the visitor circulation and develop layout possibilities to support the artist’s vision.


August 2025 Residency - Eden Summer Institute. House of bricoleurs has been selected to be part of the Eden Summer Institute (https://edensummerinstitute.info/) . We were inspired by The Yellow Wall Paper, by Charlotte Perkins and our passion for ornament as camouflage, identity politics and mental health. This is also related to the history of carpet making in Eden, and the impact of the cotton industry (with its links to slavery and politics) in the state of North Carolina, as well as our own research into ‘outsider architecture’, with the case study of the ‘Dot Man’ in Winston-Salem. 

This series of mis-translations playing with patterns and colours is linked to some exercises that the Albers were offering to their students at the Black Mountain College.



June 2025 Planning won!We are delighted to announce that we have won planning for An NHS Barge on Paddington Basin. Very happy for the charity and for the NHS Staff who will finally have a room to rest soon.


May 2025  Selected for Shape - Built by Us.We are super happy that as architect and co-founder of House of bricoleurs Albane, has been selected to be part of SHAPE, a programme to support early built environment entrepreneurs that want to create change (builtbyus.org.uk/shape).

Shape is run by Built by Us. Built By Us strives to increase diversity in the leadership of the built environment sector, particularly seeking to nurture traditionally under-looked and under-served talent. This includes: women, The Global Majority, people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, Disabled people, LGBTQIA+ people, People who face socio-economic disadvantage.


April 2025  Shortlist for the Residency Open Call launched by Maison de l’Architecture des Hauts de France.House of bricoleurs‘ proposal is to look closely at what is there, create a fictionnal film to connect the aspirations inhabitants for both Belgian and French towns and possibly facilitate useful and poetic reuse of the wastelands sites.

Our team includes House of bricoleurs, artiste Céleste Rogosin and urbanist-sociologist Sarah van Hollebecke.

House of bricoleurs gave a lecture about their work to the ‘Together Masters Studio’ at KTH Stockholm.


November 2024  House of bricoleurs has completed the renovation of a flat in a Grade 2 listed property in Maida Vale in West London.


Tuesday 18th July 2023  Shortlist for the Residency Open Call launched by Maison de l’Architecture de l’Isère.House of bricoleurs proposes to reuse the existing derelict and partially unoccupied building: “l’ilot Republique” to offer a series of collaborative workshops with local communities: cleaning for drawing, painting for access, greening for play and repairing to occupy.

House of bricoleurs is thrilled to participate in the short talk organised by Vanessa Norwood for the OPEN HOUSE festival.


“The Sunday afternoon talk on the final day of the Festival will be a joyful and positive look at the power of architecture and materials to build a more sustainable and equitable future. A series of short talks by built environment experts will offer insights into the importance of material choice, the life cycle of materials and how craft and technology are offering new possibilities for positive change, with special guests: Andrew Waugh, Pierre Bidaud, and the House of Bricoleurs.”
